One night, discussing our mutual, recent singledom over adult beverages at Friday's, Dena and I came to the conclusion that we really needed to get out a little more often. Meet some new people (not that we don't like the one's we already know but...), have some adventures, maybe even find some dates (or at least find some people to make out with).
Where do the cool kids go to accomplish such things? Obviously we haven't a clue. So we asked around. And it turns out that our friends are just as clueless as we are. Possibly even more so, hence the need for meeting new people.
I thought that a good first step would be to broaden our horizons. Try new bars, restaurants, and clubs, and find out exactly who and what we've been missing out on. After all, two single ex-mid westerners should really take full advantage of Los Angeles, right? It occurred to me that other people could benefit from our experiences. And this blog was born!
So, here is our social experiment type offering to you, the hungry masses. We will offer you our opinions, our randomness, and our adventures, all in the pursuit of knowledge. See how nice we are?
